The Swan Series
The Swan Series is a sequence of asanas (postures), pranayama (breathing exercises), and svadhyaya (chanting / self-study) that students learn by practicing on a consistent basis. I get to know each student individually and guide you through a series of poses with modifications and adjustments as required. This style of practice is great for any level of experience and allows the student to have an individual practice while also benefitting from the energy and community of fellow students. Students can expect to practice for about 30 mins for their first few days, then the practice time will increase as students progress. Students will work towards practicing the full series of poses, which takes roughly 75 minutes.
Practice Times
The yoga room is open between 10am - 1pm Monday thorough Saturday and 10am - 12pm on Sunday. Students can begin and end their practice at any time during these hours. On Sundays from 12pm - 1pm we drink coffee, eat pancackes and talk about life. Students are required to practice at least 3 times per week. The timing of practice can be tailored to each person’s needs and students can practice at home as they wish.
