Saraswati is the goddess of wisdom, learning, and the creative arts. She is associated with the Sarasvati river in the Rig Veda and represents a flowing presence that can purify and inspire. Her name can be translated as “the one who flows” or “the essence of oneself.” As the Mother of the Vedas, we offer praise to Saraswati in effort to increase knowledge of ourselves, enhance our creativiry and put wisdom into action.
